Ultra Baugil : 72Km

Ultra Baugil 소요시간 4박 5일

This route begins at Kumjin Port where you can see coastal railway line and continues along Seaside Mountain Road. On the top of the ridge, you can see the ocean, walk as if you walk along seashore and have a quiet time to be lost in thought. You may forget how heavy your 4-day backpack is if you think so deeply. You continue to walk Seaside Mountain Road until you reach Dangjip Shrine located in a large pine forest and then turn right onto broad road to go into the mountain road. After passing Mandeokbong Peak, you eat rice balls prepared in the morning for lunch, lie without taking off your backpack and bathe in the sun shining through the leaves of the oak tree in Seonhuchi. And then you push your way through the branches of royal azalea and get to Duribong Peak. The spectacular views from Duribong Peak will make you feel like you are in the Heaven’s Garden. That is why dog´s-tooth violet flowers are all over the place. The flower is known as one of the most charming flowers. The two-hour trail connecting Duribong Peak to Sapdangnyeong Pass goes through a mountain bamboo grove. The next day after camping in Sapdangnyeong Pass, you pass Seokdubong Peak and Hwaranbong Peak and reach Dakmoknyeong Pass. And the walking trail from Dakmoknyeong Pass to Gorupogisan Mountain takes about two hours. You can stay in Anbandeok (a remote mountain village) a walk away from Gorupogisan Mountain. In the last day of the journey, you leave Gorupogisan Mountain, pass Neungkyungbong Peak, Daegwallyeong Pass and Seonjaryeong Pass and finally have Gonsinbong Peak in sight. After enjoying wild flowers all over the mountain, the green wide expanse is ready to catch your eyes.
